fiNally, mY traVeloG is ouT!! enJOY!! piCs ouT nXT!

day one:
landed in perth, travelled to town of ALBANY. went along the coastal areas for a walk when we found accommodation.. view was breathtaking! went to middleton beach and went on it's boardwalk.. On this boardwalk take in the superb views of King George Sound, Princess Royal Harbour and all the islands surrounding the sound and harbour.

laTer we went to Mt clArence and climbEd a hiStoriC foRt of something.. din noe wad was it aniway.. haha! never take down!

day 2:
tRavelled to THE GAP and Natural BriDge

The Gap is a perfect example of our beautiful rugged coastline. The gap is a sheer chasm - a huge gap in the rock, which on rough sea days, has spray rising up over the top of it. The Gap can be viewed from the viewing platform along its edge.

The Natural Bridge is another perfect example of our beautiful rugged coastline. The Natural Bridge is a huge piece of granite which huge seas have eroded over the centuries to produce this fantastic arch.

Walpole:

Next is the tree top walk at valley of the giants. part of Walpole-Nornalup National Park. Went to walk on a suspending platform… it wasn’t that scary as it looked.. except that when u walk, the platform would shake coz the people are walkin and the platform would then swing.. but not to that extent of knockin u off the platform! Saw the toP of the trees! Woo hoo!!! Supposed to reach the point where it is the highest pt of the whole walk and u can see the breathtaking view of the forests.. u can hear the sounds of nature, the chirping of the birds but the birds are missing.. can’t see them.. haiz..

In the national park, there is another attraction: the empire walk.. it features trees that have their trunks destroyed by fires.. it’s burnt to a degree that it forms a hollow base with the inner layer of the trunks covered with soot.. it’s so big that even a grown adult can go in and there’s still space left over the head.. see how forest fires can do to trees…

Headed to pemberton and stayed in the pump hills farm chalet…

Day3:
pemberton pump hill farm galore!

Woke up in the morn 2 go to farm experience! Went 2 feed the animals and went on a tractor ride! The man was great man! Explained lotsa stuff bout the animals and sort.. the donkeys we saw were pregnant and he said that sometimes u could see the baby kicking inside the mommy’s stomach.. they are cute! Fed them carrots.. went 2 the cows in the tractor cum hay ride and fed them hay. Lotsa dem! Cousins had fun wif the cows and they have really enormous stomachs man! Next is the sheeps and then the ducks and the chickens! Collected chicken eggs!! Woo hoo! Their nest sure stinks!

Along the way, saw a berry and lavander farm and went iN! ate lavender ice cream! WoW!! Heaven man!! The lavender taste is juz right! Mum ate one toO!! Here’s my muM!

Went to the Gloucester tree climb~

Standing at 61 meters tall, the Gloucester Tree is from the Karri family, which is the third tallest tree species in the world. It was pegged in 1946 so that people could climb it and use it as a watchtower for bushfires. My dad climbed to the top!!! Cheers for him!! I didn’t dare, just climbed for photo-takin sake and there were other people also! My dad said the tree was quite stable and didn’t sway when he was on top!!! Wah!!! Great tree man!!!

Sand dunes time!!! It featured a 4-wheel-drive vehicle that took a rather bumpy ride thru the sand dunes.. sad sad.. there wasn’t any sand boarding and we took it to ourselves to slide down the sand usin our body parts-our buM! Had picnic and it’s provided by our dear driver! Home made butter cake! Woo hoO!! The food was great and the driver is great too!! Love Australians! They are just So helpful and would say hello even if u don’t know dem!!

After sand dunes, it’s down 2 our accommodation at karri valley forest resort! We stayed in a forest cabin surround by forests! The bed’s absolutely great man! Soft and comfy! It’s the best bed in the trip man!!! Haha~ morn came and I spotted birds by our porch! Not sure if it’s birds or parrots but I tink is a bird that looks like parrots ba.. veri colourful and we fed them biscuits.. my dad went first and then my uncle and auntie.. then it’s mi! I screamed when they landed on my arm coz their claws were rather sharp and I had some scratches on my arm… they ate my biscuits on my hand and one landed on my head!!! I really screamed!! I couldn’t hold my hand straight! In the end they finished eating and I quickly took cover in the house..

Day 4:

early morn, went canoeing at the karri valley forest resort! Haha! Kayaking la.. not canoeing..

Entered a berry farm and took berry picking skills to the max! I broke 4 branches off the tree while trying 2 pluck the berries!! HelpS!! Of coz I nvr told the boss.. he’s a jolly good fella.. helping us pick the berries and telling us bout the berries and stuff.. helped us take a photo and I feel guilty for spoiling his tree.. it was $10 aussie dollars for a kg of berries.. we pluck more than 2 kg of berries but he only asked us 2 pay for 2kg worth of berries! That’s a great deal man! It’s daMn cheap!!

BUNBURY! My fav town!!!

It’s by the seaside and has an airy feel to it.. I doesn’t feel congested like the small towns do.. as in congested by trees and makes the town feel small and alone to itself.. stayed in a motel called chateau la mer by the sea! Haha! Watched the sunset frm my room and it’s simply wonderful.. went to climb the lookout at bunbury and it’s said 2 be able 2 see the whole of bunbury frm it..

Day5: Fremantle~!

aFter that... we went to the round house for a visit.. it is a place where it sorta acts like a prison for the law breakers.. their punishments are cruel.. humiliating.. serving to bring the utmost humiliation to those people.. they hang them for days and place them in an awkward position where it's hard to stand or sit.. that's why it's torturous.. poor people..

nite.. watched sunset from my van.. had accommodation in a place dat was quite quiet.. yanchep.. the room dere is quite old and gosh..had a musty smell in dere.. no choice.. getting dark and the rooms are cheap!! consider $160 for 9 peopLe!! whatever.. watched survivor-vanuatu last episode dere! haha! watched wif my couz.. CHRIS won!! yea!!!!

Day6:
pinnacles!!

Heading north, the weather becomes more and more harsh and the day that we went had a temperature of 39 degrees!!! Can u imagine that!!! In Singapore, 31 degrees is what we complain as hot.. for 39 degrees, it’s almost in a furnace!!! But it was bearable.. the air that blew over was hot… not cool.. so ate ice cream all the way! Reached the pinnacles.. it’s sorta rock formatted that is caused by the leaching of minerals and the sea eroding the land forming the rocks we see at the pinnacles.. it wasn’t really fabulous but still acceptable.. I was a bit disappointed when I saw it but nevertheless, I decided to make the best out of the weather.. I went down our van and took the chance to do a bit of sun tanning.. crazy eh? A bit tanned but not quite.. still acceptable.. haha~!

Back to perth and shopping.. shops close at 5pm and there isn’t anything 2 shop.. saw some adult shops and they have like live peeps at $2! 2 shops together man!!! They had the sexy kinda lingerie on display and I digressed.. haix… what is the world becoming!

Day7:
more shoppin for apple strudel and nougats!!!! Went 2 Fremantle again and back to perth… nothing much 2 shop… too rushing!! It’s back to the plane on SIA and I watched princess diaries 2 and the last samurai.. missed the climax of the last samurai coz the plane had to land and the krisworld thing was ended… sux rite!!! Climax!! Last fifteen mins!!!! WaSsup!!!!!
