HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha.. abit backdated, but wells, how many days of the year can you proclaim your patriotism and love for your country? come to think of it, it's not the time where you say you love your country just on 9th august.. you could say that everyday right? but i really love my country.. LOVE YOU!!

was with bryan the whole day yesterday.. kinda slacking around in the afternoon.. walking around ps cos we missed the timing to get our tix for movies and everything else is fully booked.. so no choice.. had to drop the idea of watching movie and walked around instead.. slacked at cartel and then went to clarke quay.. initial idea was to watch the fireworks from there but i din know where i was heading to and i sorta just took him and walked aimlessly.. i realised that i was walking in the wrong direction and thus headed to where we started.. some bridge.. so we walked and this time round it's the correct direction.. it's sorta funny that the way we walked, eventually brought us to the right place.. we were near fullerton hotel and that area outside victoria memorial hall (the one with sir stanford raffles statue) is simply stunning!! i saw the nicest fireworks there! there, the fireworks seem to just fall onto you.. it's simply stunning.. nevermind the lower ones are covered by trees.. you can just lie down on the grass and see the fireworks fall on you.. since that area is near the padang and near the parade, fighter jets were sighted and also the helicopter that brought the national flag.. that patriotism in my heart seemed to stir a little.. yea.. and tankers were moving from the roads.. people crowding around the barricades to take a look at the tankers wheezing past.. what a sight!

indeed.. this year's national day is the best i've ever had in years.. never did the norm and stay at home to watch ndp parade.. so i missed the fun la! but the stunning fireworks made up for it..

i'm still crawling through harry potter and the half blood prince.. halfway through le!!! there are some queries i have on the story and i have yet to find out!!! must read faster le!!! i also bought my FIR's 'guang rong zhi yi' le!! havent finished watching but i've watched all the mvs.. i like them! there's this particular mv for 'ying xu zhi di' which depicts the war.. i guess.. its really touching.. kind of sad though.. but still, FIR's the one that makes these mvs nice..
