after all that happened, i guess the best way for me to destress is to actually talk to other people!! so i went to the zoo for CIP duty 2day!! wee! it's so nice sharing information about what you know with other people and actually let them enjoy their visit at the zoo.. sounds so meaningful righT? although the first time i went to actually do my duty was rather awkward, i gradually got used to it and felt rather comfortable talking to people.. haha!! even though i only managed to tell 2 caucasian ladies bout the baboons, i feel damn satisfied with myself.. i'm so easily satisfied.. me and weihan were late today!! that gurl actually overslept! if only she called me earlier then i wouldn't have to stone at the busstop le.. well, this other person who is supposed to do the duty with us din come.. wth man! den it was only me and weihan there.. guess what!! i finally got my badge!!




so damn nice right!! at least this gives me a sense of identity and belonging to the big family of the zoo!! animals including!!! animals are the greatest companion of man.. after this conservation ambassador thingy, i seem to like the zoo more and love its inhabitants! i love my baboon babies!! woohoo!! i really think i must go and wash my eyes later.. i saw baboons having SEX like more than 4 to 5 times!!!!!!!! WTH man!!!! it's like they were doing it at some rock wall there, in front of the glass panel, at the waterfall there, in the middle of the enclosure there.. it's like some mating season for them la.. gosh.. the male baboons are damn rough man.. they insert their penis into the female's vagina (i suppose so.. o.o) and just push in pull out push in pull out.. like around 4 to 5 times then they remove their penis.. after that, they'll start grooming each other.. it's the same for all the baboons man!! i wonder if those that i saw mating were actually the same baboons i saw earlier on.. just when they were mating weihan was explaining bout the baboons to this mother and daughter and the daughter actually asked her mum what they were doing.. naturally, the mum went on to say that they were mating.. hmmm correct term neh! when it was time for feeding, we went over to the feeding area, which is some form of bridge actually.. saw the zookeeper there! we always see him.. guess he probably recognise us cos we've been back to the zoo in around a week or two.. :) he told us bout the baboons and there were this pair who always do tricks.. one who always jumps up and down trying to attract attention from people to give him bananas.. ^^ and the other who is constantly 'somersaulting' to what? attract attention of cos!! the one who always jumps is the first male to be born in the zoo while the one 'somersaulting' is the female one! how interesting! he says that they train them to do so so that they can recognize them easily! spotted one new born baboon!! it's so cute!! it has very very little hair!! so cute!!!!! it was trying to wander around by itself but the mother went to pull its tail and carry to itself! haha!! during feeding time i also witnessed some fight.. this female baboon was bitten by another female baboon and she actually went to complain to the dominant male! then half the time during the feeding time, she was hiding behind the male and the male went to bite the female!! sad man.. how violent can the males be.. i hate them! they snatch food from other younger baboons.. hated them ever since the first time i went to the baboons area.. disgusting! only care bout yourself huh?? forgot to mention that the female baboon who complained is the one carrying the new born baby baboon!!! and she's like so violent towards the other female and imagine her carrying the baby!! what if the baby get hurt!!!
